Josiah arrives

Josiah Daniel arrives Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011 at 5:01 pm in OKC. A little difficulty at the end of labor, but baby and Mo did great. They came home Wednesday evening. Grandma Lola got to babysit so that mom and dad could sleep. They got 5 hours straight and then Grandma Lola crashed. AMAZING time. He sleeps alot still. He needs to eat more.

Josiah is the first born son of a first born son of a first born son of a first born son of a first son born of a first born son. This is through Grandpa Jerry. Cool right, but only if you are into genelogy.

Josiah is also the first born of a first born of a first born of a first born. This is through Grandma Lola.

BUT lest we forget, Josiah is a new member of our family and that is tremendous!

...of November, another day and my laptop. Yep, it finally died. Goodbye, Vista!!!!!

That is what gets me through my days right now. It is a rough year in the classroom. Slowly but surely I an getting the challenges manageable.  Hopefully, we can reach success for all in the mix.

Looks like this blog will be a hodge podge of stuff.

Special Things

I was thinking today about the birth of my third grandchild. Josiah will be the my oldest's first child. That is special. I have two grandchildren born to my first daughter. That is special, too. These thoughts lead to when Tamara was born. Lovely sunny spring day in Ohio. Looking out a window in the hospital and so very happy to have my little girl.

When Josiah is born it will be special to think of the history of family. First born son of a first born son of a first born son of a first born son. Josiah, Jeremy, Jerry, Larry.

I am the first born of a first born. I need to check and see how far back that goes. Special
